Financial Accounts Manager / Client Accounts Manager McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a highly-regarded East London Accountancy Firm who are looking for a Qualified Accounts Manager/Outsourcing Manager to join their growing team. Managing your own portfolio of clients and a number of junior staff, you will be the main point of contact for establishing, developing and maintaining a working relationship with internal teams ensuring the delivery of Outsourcing work to deadlines and in meeting client expectations. Other key deliverables include: Planning jobs and contacting clients to remind them when preparation work is due. Liaising/meeting with clients to consider both their needs and the key areas relating to the assignment. Liaising with the appropriate Tax Manager before the assignment commences to ensure any tax related matters are known and advising him/her when the assignment will be ready for a tax review. Arranging for the appropriate staff to be available. Preparing the budget and agreeing it and the timing with the client Ensuring that recovery rates and budgets for jobs are adhered to by the team Managing assignments as they proceed, delegating and reviewing work of staff to ensure that standards are met. Providing timely feedback to partners on issues identified with clients Presenting to the Partner a complete file with minimal review points Putting through final adjustments to the accounts where a more junior member of staff is not available and preparing final accounts to send to clients Identifying and following up possible opportunities for incremental fees across the business - both with existing clients and new clients Keeping technically up to date and ensuring Institute CPD requirements are met To be considered for the role you should be a Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant, ideally degree-educated with a mixed practice or Outsourcing experience and some staff management skills. On offer is a salary up to £60,000 depending on qualification and experience, with benefits to include company pension, healthcare and holidays.
