Pharmacy Manager (non-Pharmacist), Kettering NN15, Independent Pharmacy, £30,000-35,000 dependant on experience If you are a Dispenser or Dispensing Technician with some supervisory management experience, or someone with a lot of experience who is interested in embarking on their first managerial role, then this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. Working closely with the pharmacist you will be responsible for managing the pharmacy operations and supervising all the dispensing and counter staff. THE OPPORTUNITY This role has been newly created due to the fact that the pharmacy has seen good growth over the last 12 months and the pharmacist is now too stretched to deal with the management of the pharmacy too. Part of a small, independently owned group and located in a parade of shops in the heart of the local community, close to the centre of Kettering, the pharmacy provides essential healthcare services to local residents. Working closely with the pharmacist, you will play a key role in growing the pharmacy and supporting professional service delivery and development. The role is primarily a Monday to Friday one, with just one Saturday morning of working needed every 3 weeks. The group is growing quickly, so other managerial opportunities are likely to open up in future. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE We are happy to consider anyone with a dispensing background. Previous managerial experience is desired but not essential. REWARDS A very competitive hourly rate, likely to be in the region of £15-17/hour, will be offered to the successful candidate.
