Overview
TLTP are currently working with a Secondary school in Southend-on-Sea that are recruiting for a Mathematics Teacher to join them in a permanent role starting in September. As the new Maths Teacher, your duties will include but will not be limited to the following; You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of the UK national curriculum for and be comfortable at delivering lessons to key stages 3 through 5. As the new Maths Teacher, you will be communicating with parents and carers on a regular basis giving updates their child’s progress within your classes. You must keep an up to date record on all student’s progress throughout the academic year. You will also be required to use various teaching resources to help you provide the best possible lessons. You will be required to go through appropriate training in line with school and departmental priorities. The successful applicant will have the following Qualifications/Experience; You must have a Maths related degree with the relevant teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or QTS You will need to have strong management skills of students. You must have a clear understanding of the UK national curriculum. You will need a recent Enhanced DBS check and be registered to the online Update Service.
