Overview

Are you a Technology WIZARD looking for a role in IT Support? My client based in the heart of London Bridge are looking for an AV Technician to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fabulous office within a friendly team. London Bridge | Part-Time (Including weekends, flexible working hours) | £14.44ph | Must be able to interview and start immediately Key Responsibilities: Provide user support for the available range of audio-visual (AV) and ICT equipment in teaching spaces, lecture rooms and meeting rooms as per the requirement of the daily working schedules Perform necessary maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks associated with all Audio Visual and IT technologies Document any changes from default system configuration Evaluate operational requirements to repair and maintain audio-visual equipment and liaise with and support external teams engaged to carry out such work Develop and maintain data quality reports to address data issues Assist users with day-to-day system problems Develop a deep understanding of key management and information systems Maintain close formal and informal contact with the remote IT team based in Coventry Contribute to the work of the remote IT team based in Coventry, in planning, establishing and maintaining the technology infrastructures Be directly involved in the specification, testing and implementation phases of developments which affect London base activities Work closely with the Office Manager, and the full time AV Technician, and Programme Team(s), in room re- configurations and setup, ensuring that teaching and programme events in London are appropriately supported Assist with ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining an appropriate environment as befits a professional business space Requirements: Experience of setting up and running audio visual equipment Expertise with a variety of analytical and database software, such as Excel, Access, management information systems Excellent communication skills, including the ability to impart knowledge to technical and non-technical stakeholders An understanding of IT support and systems administration within a Service Environment Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines Ability to troubleshoot complex IT queries Advertised by Office Angels, London Bridge branch Please note that due to the high volume of response Office Angels receive; only successful candidates will be contacted.
