The Company The In-House Paralegal role is with an international company functioning like a private equity firm with a specialism in professional education. The company has been acquiring well known businesses and they now boast an impressive global portfolio. They have plans to continue this growth trajectory and it is an exciting time to be part of it The Team The legal team is led by an ex-Clifford Chance solicitor and they are seeking a talented paralegal to assist with a range of work, but with a focus on the contentious side. The matters will be wide ranging and include managing your own caseload of debt and employment related matters and assisting on larger contractual and IP disputes. As they continue to expand and acquire businesses you will also have the chance to assist with the transactional corporate M&A work and with company secretarial duties. The Progression The previous paralegal is now a trainee in the team, and there is strong possibility for the successful In-House Paralegal to follow the same path. The Requirements Strong academics are essential for this In-House Paralegal role, as is completion of the LPC. At least 6 months litigation experience from a highly regarded firm is also required.
