Work Pattern Working mainly day-shift Monday to Friday but flexibility is required to work weekends and nights to support the "out-of-hours" call out rota. Job Description The Network and Infrastructure department is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all new servers and data communication links within Greggs House and regional offices. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will assist the department in supporting the data centre and communications areas around the regional offices and associated equipment within. A flexible working attitude is essential as there is a requirement for weekend and evening work. There will also be a requirement to take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota which covers key system areas. Key Responsibilities: Internal and External Network Security Virtual and Physical Server Build, Installation and Management Datacentre Management and Monitoring DR and BCP Implementation and Testing Storage Area Network Installation and Management Infrastructure Monitoring Networked Systems Monitoring Skills Essential: Management of virtualisation environments (VMWare) MS Active-Directory management and maintenance experience Linux Server configuration and maintenance experience Management of MS Exchange 2010 through to 2013 including backup and recovery maintenance Palo Alto or Similar Firewall technology Management of endpoint protection systems Backup and Recovery Technologies Strong communication and customer support skills Good inter-personal skills and a flexible working attitude Ability to plan, organise and solve problems Desirable Skills: HIDS/HIPS Exposure Mobile Device Management Dell Server Hardware VOIP knowledge Benefits Our Greggs Employee discount Scheme is very generous, offering you up to 50% off our food Your holiday entitlement starts with 26 days, in addition to Bank Holidays, which increases with service up to a maximum of 30 days after 25 years’ service (pro-rata for part time) After 6 months service you may be eligible for our profit share scheme You will be invited to participate in our Management Bonus Scheme which is worth up to 7.5% of your salary, subject to the Company meeting certain performance criteria.
