Overview
Piper Maddox are recruiting for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer on behalf of an exciting engineering consultancy operating in the Electric Vehicle industry wand would love to hear from you You will be joining a small yet rapidly expanding team of some of the automotive industry's most renown engineers to deliver complex and innovative projects on behalf of OEM's, start-ups and suppliers alike. As Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will take responsibility for: - Technical ownership of embedded software for a range of vehicle domains (e.g. powertrain, body, chassis), through development and validation of electrical and electronic systems - Support system integration, provide debugging capability during development and deliver production ready solutions - Interface with suppliers and partners with technical requirements and feedback for existing and new designs - Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g. electronic hardware, control SW etc.) to develop modern, innovative and practical solutions In return, you will receive a competitive remuneration package from £45,000 - £55,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package. You will also be given huge scope to progress in your role as the company expands in the coming years. You will: - Be degree educated in an Engineering or Science related discipline and have attained or be working towards Chartered status. - Be able to demonstrate several years experience supporting systems engineering processes and software development cycles within the Automotive sector; working for an OEM, or Tier 1 supplier. - Have significant experience of C/C++ languages in real-time embedded systems - Be familiar with ISO26262 and have developed functional safety compliant software - Be experienced in developing software to AUTOSAR and MISRA C standards and guidelines Most importantly, you will be a motivated, creative thinker who is not afraid to challenge existing ideas or processes.
