Overview

esure is one of the UK’s leading providers of Motor, Home and Travel Insurance products, through the esure and Sheila’s’ Wheels brands. We employ over 2000 people across our three sites and provide insurance cover for over 2.4 million people. Our largest office is based in Glasgow City Centre and has a fantastic atmosphere with all the facilities you would expect in an office with 1000 staff, including both a subsidised canteen and local car parking facilities. The Role As a Customer Claims Specialist, you will deal with the initial notification of the motor claim. You will be responsible for registering all new claims reported to esure including accidental damage, fire and theft. You will handle the claim and keep the customer up to date throughout the claim. This is not always easy as the customers can be upset or in a stressful situation, so you will need to be able to keep them calm and working through the claim, ensuring you get all details. You will also work alongside other teams in esure, as well as potentially third-party suppliers. Job Requirements You do not need previous insurance experience as we provide excellent training. We do however require you to have a minimum of 6 months proven experience in a customer service role. In addition, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate in an empathetic way to customers. Hours - 37.5 hours per week, working on a rotational shift pattern between Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm, Saturday, 9am - 5pm, Sunday 8am-2pm. Training - To help your success our dedicated trainers will spend the first 3 weeks with you in our dedicated training area before you move onto our Graduation bay for a further 3 weeks. You must be able to commit to the 6 week training period.
