Overview
Our client is looking fora confident self-motivated, fabric tech/testing candidate. Experienced in dealing with high street retailers would be an advantage. An interest in sustainability would be beneficial also. The role will be to provide administrative and technical support for both the sales & production team, managing and prioritising the critical path. You must have strong fabric and textile product manufacturing knowledge. Along with strong communication skills, team player, customer focused attitude, ans be a strong team player. You will Submit and maintain base & bulk testing for customers' requirements, liaising with internal departments, suppliers and customers. Ensuring all customer manuals and standards are adhered too. Keeping up to date with Reach Compliance and relevant regulations. To advise on fabric specifications, and where necessary make improvements to a fabrics performance to meet customers' requirements. Chasing relevant labs for test reports to ensure they are received back in timely manner, and dealing with any failures/ issues along the way. Assessing and evaluating reports regarding customer complaints related to fabric performance. Advising care Labels based on base and bulk test reports
