Fixed Term Contract 12-18 months We have an exciting fixed term opportunity within our Peterborough Head Office for a self-motivated Customer Due Diligence Consultant who is a team player and is passionate about delivering accurate analysis and assurance of Commercial Lending KYC / CDD, in relation to a remediation project. If you are detail orientated and have excellent investigative abilities, you’ll enjoy working within our Commercial Lending Department, joining the CDD Team as a Customer Due Diligence Consultant. What You'll Do As a Customer Due Diligence Consultant working on the remediation project you will deliver exceptional and comprehensive assistance with the end to end remediation of our existing customer base: You will be responsible for approving the customer risk assessment and the appropriateness of the underlying customer due diligence. You will decide whether the customer is within our financial crime risk based framework You will liaise with our Financial Crime Operations Team where appropriate. You will support the adherence with the Group’s Risk Appetite Framework in relation to financial crime risks, ensuring adherence to the parameters for decisions making and governance reporting. How You’ll Do It Anti Money Laundering/on-boarding experience of at least 2 years Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport effectively and professionally with colleagues Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to prioritise and effectively manage a varied workload Excellent attention to detail with an analytic mind set Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met Ability to quickly learn new software applications Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal Previous experience and knowledge of Commercial Lending is desirable but not essential to the role Life at YBS In addition to the usual benefits such as competitive salary, annual bonus and healthcare packages we offer you… Flexibility – Whether it’s picking up the kids from school or catching that early morning yoga session we have you covered.
