Overview

This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional HR Advisor to join our close-knit, positive and busy HR team. Sitting within the highly experienced HR Business Partnering team you will provide support to the HR Partners and Managers, giving pragmatic front-line HR advice on policies and procedures as well as employee relations matters. You will be joining us at an exciting time where we have repositioned the service of our HR Business Partnering team to enable a more proactive and customer-focused approach. This newly created role will provide vital support to the Partners and Managers in the team, ensuring that consistent advice is given regarding policies and procedures, and overseeing processes from start to finish to ensure risks are mitigated and appropriate communications are provided. Essential Skills Experience of working in a HR team/environment Excellent communication skills and proven professional customer-focused approach Strong attention to detail and proficiency around letter-writing and note-taking Demonstrable excellent customer service skills and a flexible pragmatic approach Team working skills, and an ability to deliver project outcomes Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and maintain calm and organised in approach Well-developed IT skills and experience of interpreting reports/data Demonstrable ability to use a flexible and pragmatic approach to problem-solving Ideal Skills Experience of working in an academic and/or research-based environment Qualified to Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) standard either through training or experience.
