Overview
Plas Derw Trust celebrates its 15th year this summer and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Trustees to help us continue to grow. The Trust delivers a variety of outdoor and environmental education projects and promotes sustainable living to schools, community groups and the wider public across Flintshire and North Wales. The subsidiary trading company PDT Training and Education Ltd. is the leading provider of Forest School Training in North Wales and have trained over 500 learners in Outdoor Education. Whether you are an experienced Trustee or interested in taking your fist steps at Board level we would love to hear from you. As a trustee you will Attend regular board meetings (minimum of 4 per year ) Offer ad hoc support to staff in person or via email Be involved in strategic planning and decision making Influence and shape projects that benefit the community Gain experience to help your own professional development
