Overview

Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Fintech company based in West London for a Payroll officer/HR Admin to work on monthly payrolls for 5 separate companies currently 500 employees. The role will be working with the Payroll Manager to provide an on time service and full accountability for the whole payroll Service including pay and benefits Working in a small HR and Payroll team who are very friendly and fun to work with. The role is full-time Monday to Friday either 9-5.30 with an hour lunch or 9 -5 with half hour lunch. You will receive 23 day holiday plus bank holidays rising to 25 with years of service. The potential to earn up to 7.5% of your salary in bonus, pension and access to a further benefits package after probation The role of Payroll Officer/ HR Admin Working with the part-time payroll manager to provide a comprehensive payroll process for 5 monthly payrolls currently standing at 500 employees. You will have experience of Sage payroll and processing monthly payroll from start to finish Calculating statutory pay including maternity, sick, adoption and paternity pay Processing payroll changes including starters, leavers Balance and reconciliation of the P35 at the end of the month Reconciliation of third parties Submitting and checking BACS is processed in a timely manner Processing of end of year P35, P60 and P14 Producing P11d Assisting the HR team and the Payroll Manager with the admin of benefits to include private medical, salary sacrifice and pension payments Responsible for the delivery of RTI Provide payroll as a service managing all enquiries or queries regarding Pay and benefits Verifying monthly timesheets received for Store Managers Partnering with the HR Administrator to assist with the employee lifecycle Working closely with the HR team to provide admin support with regards to Payroll and Benefits About you the Payroll Officer/HR admin Familiar and experience in manual payroll Solid experience of payroll experience including manual payroll with demonstrable experience in the compliance of HMRC regulations, Comprehensive experience of Sage Payroll at a level of 500 plus employees Experience of Oracle and Oracle Business Intelligence report a definite plus Confident and personable an expert in your field Able to take responsibility and ownership of the whole Payroll Process Professional diplomatic and confidential with a can do attitude If you are currently a Payroll Officer and you are looking to work in a fun and established organisation and you have proven experience in a high volume payroll please do not hesitate to contact Mercury Talent today to discuss?
