Overview
My client is looking to employ an enthusiastic experienced Fabric Sourcer across ladies jersey, woven and soft separates. This role is focussed on sourcing trends for the newest and nicest fabrics going forward. You will be working with leading high street fashion retailers therefore you must have an appreciation of different target markets and understand which fabrics should be considered for their range of designs. It’s essential that you have strong fabric sourcing knowledge, along with: · Trend and creative eye · Excellent taste level · Fabric Sourcing expertise- especially Far East, Turkey etc as well as Europe · Commercial experience · Fabric knowledge across jersey, wovens and softs separates · Excellent working relationships with technologists, buyers etc · Highly organised, commercial eye with bags of energy and enthusiasm If you have experience as a fabric sourcer or product developer with a creative flare this is great role where you take ownership of the fabric process.
