Overview

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with rail experience? Are you keen to get involved in a prestigious rail project? Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work for a Tier 1 main contractor on a station in Central London. Your role will be To manage, collate, index, conduct quality checks, compilation of assurance certification and associated documentation for MEP inspection and surveillance, works package assurance outputs from commencement of the construction phase to Handover to MEP Test and Commissioning Function supporting the delivery of the project to time, cost and quality criteria. Roles & Responsibilities:  Develop and Review works package plans for assurance (ITP, RAMS & Process Mapping)  Review Technical Documentation for assurance (Tech subs & Materials compliance)  Inspection of installation works for handover  Collating assurance documentation for handover and inspections  Raising IRFs and carrying out inspections with client  Tracking inspection & handover progress of electrical systems  Identifying defects and diversion from project specification (NCR)  Site surveillance & monitoring Candidate requirements  Minimum 5 Years' experience in Mechanical Field  Good knowledge of installation works and requirements  NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Installation (minimum)  Previous Experience at Site Engineer/Construction Manager level (minimum)  Previous Rail experience essential (Crossrail exp preferred)  IT Literate (Heavy use of IT - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Autodesk (BIM)  Client Facing If you think that this is the job for you, apply within, or alternitavly email Chloe Griffin Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
