Overview

A requirement has arisen for a 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer skilled in NetApp, based in Birmingham. They are looking for an extremely ambitious, highly motivated and technically minded individual. The role will primarily involve managing of incoming support tickets for their customer base on NetApp storage, Windows Server / Desktop, Networking, Virtualised Environment, our in-house hosted environments and other ad-hoc requests. The suitable individual should go on to progress to a Senior Engineer if they show the drive and aptitude The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience - Proficient in basic Helpdesk level IT concepts. Have a good knowledge of NetApp, HPE, VMware, Cisco & Networking. Have previous helpdesk experience (2 years) Windows Server / Desktop troubleshooting knowledge. Basic networking knowledge. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and dependable. Good telephone manner. Customer focused. VMWare / Hyper-V experience (preferable) Experience NetApp: 1 year (Essential) IT Support Desk: 2 years (Essential)
