The Company This highly progressive UK based e-Mobilty integration business are a leading technology provider of Powertrain integration and Battery solutions to many major OEMs globally. You will be working for one of the fastest moving electrification technologies Centre of Excellence in the UK. Established for over 8 years they are a major tier 1 supplier into over 340 OEMS globally and are expanding as a result of great products, solutions and demand. Due to company expansion they urgently require Embedded Software Engineer to work out of their HQ base in the London area to support the delivery of their existing and future projects. The Role You will be required to:- • Develop and test application code to support new applications with external customers and internal research and development objectives • Appraise new technology and assess its suitability for application within the program • Test, Validate and Release software updates in line with best practice • Create core-software modules that enable geo-fencing, edge computing capabilities and other new modules that support the product scaling up to 1000’s of deployments • Own the development and delivery of core-software modules in line with the technology roadmap The Person They must have: • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, perseverance and commitment to see the problems through to conclusion. • Exceptional verbal, written, organisational, mathematical and spatial reasoning skills • Proficiency using C • Experience using GIT/source control, and basic capability using Linux command line tools If you are a motivated, enthusiastic team player who has an interest in the industry and products then please apply to this advert for this outstanding opportunity.
