Overview
THE JOB · £25,000 - £30,000 PA, DOE. · Responsible for upselling additional and ancillary products in addition to company core product ranges. · Learning how to design, maintain and precure systems for client solutions and developing costings. · You will facilitate orders by organising logistics for deliveries, labour, quotes and invoicing working with the other departments. · Responsible for identifying new business development opportunities, targeting new markets and managing leads obtained. · You will maintain good relationships with existing clients by calling and maintaining existing customer accounts. · Responsible for helping to drive the business’ sales of Power Transmission products including Motors, Gearboxes, Couplings, Bearings and rollers whilst learning from the senior engineer. THE PERSON · Must have technical experience, working in a mechanical environment, ideally conveyors or material handling machinery with Power Transmission. · Will have the ability to read 2D and 3D technical engineering drawings. · Will have a technical understanding of Power Transmission products. · HNC/degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline is preferable, however experience is also considered. · Must have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues. · Must have a valid UK driving licence. · Will have the ability to identify client requirements and discuss bespoke solutions. · Must have strong math skills. · Must have the ability to present proposals and discuss technical content. · Must be willing to travel and work unsocial hours. · Should have problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in very reactive time frames.
