Overview

Are you an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior/Senior who has a strong experience in producing Statutory Accounts from start to finish and who is interested in getting an Audit exposure? We have an amazing opportunity for you A growing 4 Partner accountancy practice which has been established for over 30 years has increased their turnover by 15% from last year and now they are looking for a new pair of hands to help to build the growth they are experiencing. Accounts and Audit department consists of 10 staff including 2 Managers who you will be reporting to and helping with preparation of Year End accounts for the clients from their portfolio. Accounts work will take 60% of your time. Remaining 40% will be delegated to assisting with audit work, as this client base is expanding. You do not have to have audit experience, however that would be a plus. The ideal candidate for this role is a person who can fluently prepare Statutory Accounts from start to finish but is not afraid to ask questions when the need comes. This role is not progressive, which means that in the current company structure you will be a fundamental part of the team, but there is not much space to promote you in the nearest future. Main duties of an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior: Role split: 60% Accounts Preparation and 40% Audit Preparing Statutory Accounts from start to finish for the clients with turnovers from £500k to £30million Preparation of CT600 Assisting on Audits in the office and on clients’ premises Preparing analysis of accounting data from clients’ books and records Involvement in the planning, execution and finalisation of the audit assignment supporting the Manager Requirements for the role of Accounts and Audit Semi Senior: Strong experience in producing Statutory Accounts from start to finish Excellent work ethic ACA/ACCA part qualified or finalist Benefits of the role of Accounts and Audit Semi Senior: 21 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays A day off for your Birthday Local and stable role 5% pension which will increase after 1 year of employment Accounts and Audit Semi Senior £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Croydon, Surrey
