Overview
Senior Town Planner - Newcastle HA 8904 Salary: Negotiable depending on skills an experience Our client, a UK leading planning and design consultancy are urgently looking to expand their Newcastle based Planning team with the appointment of a Senior Planner. The successful Senior Town Planner will be working closely with other internal teams across the UK, delivering a variety of planning services for clients within the residential, commercial, infrastructure and retails sectors. Qualifications and experience: A relevant RTPI accredited BSc / MSc (or equivalent) Have achieved Chartered RTPI status (or be working towards this) Have demonstrable planning experience, ideally within a consultancy environment Have a strong local knowledge of the planning sector in the North East Have previous project management and business development experience Hold a full UK drivers licence Responsibilities: Promoting large to medium scale residential, mixed-use and other developments through the Local Development Framework and also coordinating applications Conducting research and site appraisals on projects Preparing, submitting and negotiating planning applications Preparing planning statements Lodging appeals Benefits: Joining a UK leading consultancy with excellent progression opportunities Full benefits package Competitive starting salary Interested?
