Rapid Response Care Assistant - Aylesbury & Surrounding Areas Female only - Full time and part time contracts available Amegreen are a home-based managed care service that operates across the UK. Our clients, children and adults alike, have significant and sometimes acute nursing and therapy requirements. The complex care they require demands an integrated, fully comprehensive, round-the clock home-based care management service. We are looking for an experienced Rapid Response Care Assistant to provide support discharging new clients, responding to changing client requirements and covering short notice absences of our team members. We are looking for experienced Carers. You will be paid your salary, whether you are required to work or not. What we can offer the Rapid Response Care Assistant: Annual salary up to £26,000 (dependant on experience); pro rata salaried contracts available for part time employees Enhanced annual leave Travel allowance and workplace pension Comprehensive, paid training in specialist complex care Excellent opportunity for career progression Refer a friend bonus scheme What the Rapid Response Care Assistant will do: Enable continuity of services to new and existing clients, often at short notice Actively participate in the discharge of new clients from hospital, care homes or other services Shadow, mentor and induct new Care Assistants Travel to various clients locations within an agreed geographical region Work with the clinical team to assist with ongoing assessment of care need for the client Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures What the Rapid Response Care Assistant will have: Availability to work flexibly across a set geographical patch Willingness to work with different clients at different locations UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle - required Diploma/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care minimum - required (level 3 preferred) Ability and confidence to adapt to different clients requirements Previous experience of complex care with both vulnerable adults and/or children Strong literacy and numeracy - must be able to complete accurate and compliant records in relation to care delivery and medication administration Female only - required At Amegreen our aim is simple: to provide the best possible care to our clients in their own homes and to look after our staff to ensure they are valued, supported and trained to deliver the services our clients require.
