Programme Assurance 9 Month FTC At RSA we have 2 open roles for Assurance specialists to join the team for 9 month fixed term contracts. these roles can be based at any of our UK office locations, and can also be for a home worker. Jobs like this involve applying your experience of assurance and validation to deliverables within a complex programme of work. The role lends itself well to people with experience in line 1, line 2 or line 3 monitoring or audit functions. You will be a key part of the Customer Improvement Programme and Design office, and play a leading role on assurance and analysis of programme deliverable quality and sustainability. The scope of this role covers both the Customer Improvement Programme and RSA's Conduct Change projects in 2020 (The 2020 Customer Outcomes Portfolio). This role involves carrying out a full range of analytical activities to support the effective delivery of deliverables for a large transformation. It includes supporting the assurance of programme deliverables, the requirements for strategic tools and frameworks, and the transition of assets and milestones into BAU. You will work with business users and programme delivery teams to support a sustainable change in the organisation. Responsibilities Play a leading role in the maintenance, documentation, reporting and processes around the Master Actions List (MAL) of RSA's Customer Improvement Programme; Lead assurance activity around the status, completion and validation of actions; Complete quality and sustainability checks, including detailed evidence reviews; Lead quarterly health-checks on key sets of actions; Work with the Programme Management Office (PMO) to build and execute a milestone closure and closure assurance for the programme's key deliverables; Lead the development of supporting processes / user guides for the MAL; Work across the programme team to define and implement an approach and sustainable tool for transferring the MAL into BAU; Support MI development and insight across the programme; Support the raising of Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (Internal and external); Pro-actively work with multiple stakeholders to ensure the right expectations are set, dealing effectively with any issues or risks. The Individual Established background in Line 1 assurance, Line 2 monitoring or Line 3 audit roles. Experience in a complex organisation, with a multitude of cultures Experience in a programme or change environment is desirable. Ideally experience an insurance or financial services domain. You will also have: Curiosity and critical thinking; Ability to challenge the status quo, agnostic of hierarchies, to achieve the right outcome; Ability to communicate detailed / complex information to multiple audiences, in person and in writing; Ability to work under time pressure, both collaborating as a team and independently; Ability to exercise judgement and produce quality deliverables; Ability to take ownership and volunteer for new challenges.
