Overview
A leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £200m and a strong presence across the pharmaceutical, data centre, residential and commercial sectors require a mechanical QA engineer to join their London business unit to initially work on a notable £27m mixed use commercial project in South West London. Your duties as Mechanical QA Engineer will include; Carry out quality inspections on site. Carry out all pre-commissioning procedures. Leading all the Design stages and ensuring the quality is of a high standard. Carry out design reviews to minimise the time taken on site as well as identifying and correcting any errors. Report to the Project Manager regarding any delays or issues from the commissioning specialists. Be able to do all the report writing for all the documentation on site. Prepare the monthly commissioning reports. Manage any client team training for the project.Who we're looking for: The following personal qualities and experience are required: Extensive experience in Construction/MEP Coordination. Good understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and high / low-voltage systems. Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors. City & Guilds, HND, Degree or industry equivalent preferred but not required.
