Supplier Quality Engineer / Supplier Development Engineer Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive supplier development experience? Do you have experience working in the mechanical engineering / manufacturing field? Supplier Quality Engineer / Supplier Development Engineer Essential Requirements / Experience: Must be a skilled Quality professional that has extensive supplier development experience and knowledge The successful must have a strong mechanical engineering / manufacturing background - Ideally with castings experience, if not a heavy mechanical engineering background will be suitable We are looking for a real people’s person that can hit the ground running, get in front of suppliers and make things happen Supplier Quality Engineer / Supplier Development Engineer Salary Package Permanent position Home based but will need to be on site initially for training and then for weekly meetings moving forward Competitive annual salary circa £50k £5k Car Allowance Client head office based near Tadley, Greenham, Aldermaston, Donnington Supplier Quality Engineer / Supplier Development Engineer The Role We are looking for well-seasoned Supplier Quality Engineer that is going to join the growing quality department during a very busy period, we are looking for someone to come in on the supplier side and play a central role in the communication between the manufacturing plant and the supply base This role will be split between supplier quality development and supplier quality assurance, this will involve travelling to supplier sites on a frequent basis The successful Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for a variety of quality / supplier development duties, reviewing and assessing supplier process, identifying quality issues, documentation and reporting etc. If you are an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer with an engineering / manufacturing background and looking for a challenging contract opportunity for a global leader in their field, please apply now.
