Come and join a company who will assist your career everyway in the future with on-going training and support Role Overview – Support Worker FLEXIBLE HOURS & EXCELLENT BENEFITS We are seeking a Support Worker to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support at this wonderful and family like service offering residential living to adults who have mild to moderate learning difficulties. They require a Female Support Worker who is conscientious and committed to delivering a high quality, person centred care and support service. Experience is not necessary as we support our staff with excellent training opportunities. It is equally important for us that you are approachable, caring and compassionate. Full time will be 36 hours per week. We alo have a waking night Support Worker vacancy covering 24 hours per week. A Support Worker will include: Delivering a high level of care and support for residents, ensuring their dignity and independence is maintained Providing support to residents to enable them to maximise their own potential and independence Assisting and encouraging residents to integrate into the community and become an active member Building strong working relationships with residents, their families/guardians and colleagues Skills and experiences: Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines And, of course, you need to ensure that the dignity and choice of the people we support is preserved at all times.
