Overview
SEN Support Worker Your new company Hays Social Care are the leading global specialist recruitment company and the market leader in the UK and Ireland. We are currently working with various large care providers who have services across the East Sussex region. We're looking for residential support workers to join our specialist team to be placed in care services across the East/West Sussex region. Within this role you'll be supporting children with SEN needs, with examples, such as: Emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) Autism, including Asperger Syndrome Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder (ADHD/ADD) Specific learning difficulties Communication difficulties Medical needs such as Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy Mobility difficulties Your role will be supporting them in their day to day life and supporting them at and to engage with the community. You will provide physical and/or emotional support and health care of the highest standard, ensuring that respect, dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. To be put forward for this role you'll need a least 6 months prior experience working as a support worker. Ideally, you'll need a drivers license and your own vehicle however if you're flexible to use public transport to get to the destination of care that is equally adequate.
