Overview
We are looking for an exceptional candidate that has solid experience developing Business Intelligence & ETL Integration services to support data provision, analytics and advanced reporting solutions within a high preforming Data Warehousing team. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in understanding key business processes, commercial implications and a passion for developing effective data integration solutions using industry leading BI applications. Selected responsibilities include: Translate business questions to data and analysis requirements; carry out SQL data mining, analysis and querying to produce effective reporting suites Support the design, development and build of existing Data Warehouse Development of advanced ETL processes to allow effective data migration Developing and optimising efficient SQL code to improve data quality initiatives Support wider BI development & Analytical strategy as / when required Qualifications include: Experienced operating with a BI Development environment MI Analyst or graduate with a relevant business/analytical degree Strong understanding of SQL database development and SQL querying functions Proficiency with ETL based SSIS Integration Services Understanding of database development in SQL, ETL and query optimisation to support Data Migration Experience working with Azure Dev Ops (advantageous) High proficiency with structuring strategic analysis using appropriate statistical modelling, research techniques and visual presentations to support points of view Strong stakeholder engagement skills including communications, time management and prioritisation skills Ability to understand business processes and commercial implications to make strategic recommendations The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, with a positive, can-do attitude, and a high level of ownership and tenacity.
