Overview
Birmingham City Centre - Fantastic Company - Permanent Opportunity Your new company A charitable trust based in the heart of Birmingham. Everything they do as a landlord, events venue, meeting place and facilitator feeds back into the charity, in order to give back and support science, technology, engineering and maths related projects, initiatives, organisations and individuals across the West Midlands. Your new role Work within the Financial Regulations set by the Finance Director and adhere to regulatory standards. Administration of the sales for all group companies Assisting the Management Accountant in the production of the departmental Management Accounts including Accrual / Pre-payments and mis-postings. Variance analysis of the departmental costs for the Period and YTD. Raising of sales invoices including updating of associated schedules on Business Central. Chasing debtor payments and attending internal monthly meetings to resolve any queries Setting up of new customer accounts in compliance with the Finance Regulations. Compile and check monthly aged debtor and aged creditor reports Raise customer statements and send reminder letters as required. Taking responsibility for any other general duties which are commensurate to this role as directed by the Interim Finance Director. Assist with month end procedures including purchase ledger accruals and reconciliations The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring all financial related activities are GDPR compliant as governed by the GDPR.
