Overview
A Transport Planning and Highways Design Consultancy are looking for a Highways CAD Technician to join their expanding team in Farringdon. You will join the highways design team, in which there is 10 staff. The company have two offices and have around 50 staff in total. You will be working on a variety of development design projects, focussing on technical drawings for roads and drainage. You will be able to demonstrate the following: Competency in the use of AutoCAD Experience in producing drawings for highway and traffic infrastructure schemes from concept through to detailed design Ability to work independently Ability to perform in accordance with agreed budget and programme with little supervision Ability to adapt to new CAD Standards and follow them closely Desirable skills and experience: HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D Experience using Autodesk Vehicle Tracking Experience using KeySoft software (KeySIGN, KeyLINES and KeyPOST) Drainage software experience Experience in developing and improving team/company CAD Standards The company are offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
