Overview
Are you organised and clear thinking with a knack for inspiring effective collaboration? Will you thrive in an environment where you have the opportunity to inspire successful outputs? Are you “a bit geeky” with a love of process and a belief in the benefits it delivers, yet human enough to lead effectively? If you are thinking, yes, yes and yes, then this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for I’m not going to bore you with the details of a generic job description written by people who don’t understand you, however, if you’ve been working in the BIM sector for some time you will know what we are looking for “Lead from the front” they say, which will be the juicy opportunity you’ve been looking for to use all your professional wisdom gained from at least 4 years of relevant BIM sector experience. Still interested in hearing more? You will be heading up a talented team of BIM individuals looking to you for guidance, organisation, knowledge and leadership to lead the way providing expert BIM support on a raft of major civil engineering projects to be built in the UK and worldwide. You will be involved in some heavyweight projects so each day will be a joy as you look forward to making a contribution to making the world a better place to live through engineering. The 2 key factors I’ll consider before we get more serious about this: Do you have proven BIM technical knowledge with a clear understanding of the software and its use in improving workflows (and can you convey this verbally and in writing?) Do you possess the ability and desire to lead a team in an organised, inspired and confident manner to get the best out of everyone and create a happy working environment? That’s it Oh, and the usual “knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, MicroStation, Tekla, etc, etc”. Goes without saying really doesn’t it? So if you like the idea of sinking your teeth into this fantastic new challenge within the growing BIM and Civil Engineering sector, get in touch ASAP before someone else beats you to it And remember “Data is the new oil”
