Overview
An excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join this established Cambridge institution who operate in the Not for Profit and Charities sector. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the production of the management accounts alongside supporting the wider business with the budget and forecasting process. Client Details An established Cambridge institution within the Not for Profit and Charities sector who are able to provide a flexible and highly driven work environment produced by the equally driven teams. The Finance Manager will support an experienced Finance team as have an impact across the institution. Description The Finance Manager will be responsible for: Manage daily banking, bank reconciliations & preparation of cash flows Preparation of management accounts including variance analysis Responsibility for the preparation of budgets Creation and management of pre payments, accrual and working progress schedules Review and finalisation of quarterly VAT and liaising with HMRC with various matters Assisting with the internal audit process Responsibility for the development of the existing finance team Improvement of internal processes and systems Ad hoc support with the processing of payroll Profile The successful candidate for the Finance Manager role will be: ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified and ideally actively pursuing their qualification Previous experience in the Not for Profit and Charities sector would be advantageous Confident of dealing with numerous stakeholders outside of the finance team An energetic and ambitious individual Confident user of Excel with broad systems knowledge Job Offer The successful candidate for the Finance Manager will be joining a leading Cambridge institution with the opportunity to impact real change whilst receiving a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.
