Overview
Finance Analyst Cambridge Salary up to £39,000 Reed have been engaged by one of Cambridge’s leading global employers to recruit a Finance Data Analyst for an initial contract of 6 months. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for extracting data and assessing it for reliability before manipulating it into a workable format for the Finance Business Analysts. Responsibilities will include: Responsible for quality and integrity of data used by the Finance Business Analytics team, including data hygiene and consistency. Sourcing and extracting data from various systems, working with various stakeholders/data owners. Manipulation, mapping and formatting of data to enable ease of use. Assessing reliability, robustness and completeness of data; flagging issues and following up on ways to improve. Creating regular reports and primary analysis. Facilitating continuous improvement in our data and its sources and the way in which the business use it. Assist in the design, implementation and continuous development of the finance systems project, the data warehouse and BI Tool (Tableau) Assist in the development and improvement of future systems, dashboards. Partner with the Business Finance Analysts to support them in delivering to stakeholders. Creating and maintaining data documentation for the team including sources, descriptions and known uses/users. This role will suit an analytically-minded accounting professional who is enjoys crunching numbers and is not fazed by large data sets. We are looking for someone who is very strong on Excel and able to manipulate data sets to a format this is easily understood by others.
