Overview
Are you a Quality professional with good knowledge of IATF16949 working for an automotive supplier looking to join a thriving company who is investing in their future currently? We are recruiting for a Quality Manager for this leading automotive supplier based near Milton Keynes . Salary £40-47k plus benefits and an early finish on Fridays at 12.30 As Quality Manager for this automotive engineering company you will be well versed in IATF16949 having worked in a standalone quality role role for an automotive supplier previously. You will form part of the senior management team being responsible for the development and implementation of quality assurance and control methodologies to improve and maintain the quality of products and processes. You will work closely with all levels of production, engineering, quality, and purchasing applying problem solving techniques to fully utilise manufacturing opportunities. You will be the SME with demonstrable experience of quality tools and techniques such as DFMEA, PFMEA etc Other areas of responsibility will include internal and external audits , reporting of non-compliance including scrap, re-work, first off success rate, as well as responsibility for instrumentation, measurement and calibration. You will proven success in reducing NCRs/ increasing quality of products produced. A strong people manager is required with experience of completing appraisals, and disciplinaries as necessary. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Quality Manager from the automotive manufacturing industry with good knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as 8D, 6 Sigma and 5S .
