Job title: Quality Engineer Location: Buckinghamshire, commutable from: Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Aylesbury, Northampton, Silverstone, Towcester, Luton, Bedford etc. Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Excellent Benefits Quality Engineer required to join our client in Buckinghamshire. Due to an internal promotion and growth we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well established business in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small privately owned engineering business that manufacture a range of products for the automotive industry. You will be joining a small close-knit team where you will have an active involvement in improving quality standards and processes. What is on offer? As the Quality Engineer you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and will be responsible for product quality. You will also have a small team of 4 Quality Technicians that will report to you. As a Quality Engineer, some of your tasks will include: Control of non-conforming products. Internal and supplier audits. Take responsibility of PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans. Dealing with customer complaints, RMA's investigation and reporting. Improvements such as CAPAs including SCARs. Overseeing document control. Reporting KPI performance to the Operations Manager. Maintenance of approved supplier list and approved parts list. What are we looking for? To be considered for the Quality Engineer role, we are looking for: Degree qualification or HNC/HND in a technical/engineering or science discipline. Strong experience working within a Quality department. Experience of continuous improvement - Lean Manufacturing. Experience working within the automotive industry and an understanding of IATF 16949 Internal and external auditing experience or qualification.
