Overview
First Call Contract services are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to work in our busy site based in Waterlooville The position is Monday to Friday working 08.00 to 16.30 Purpose of the Job To ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with company Health and Safety guidelines and HASAWA 1974 Application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) throughout the function in compliance with business requirements and third party certifications. To ensure that all raw material deliveries are sampled and assessed in accordance with relevant SOP and Laboratory Test Methods (LTM) To ensure that stock raw materials are periodically assessed in accordance with relevant SOP's and LTM's To ensure that relevant laboratory instruments are subject to periodic serviceability checks. Key areas of Performance Carry out all work in accordance with G.M.P., G.L.P., the company's Health and Safety Policy and the requirements of third party certifications Promptly sample and assess all incoming raw materials in compliance with the relevant SOP's. Ensure that the Head of Compliance is promptly informed of any raw materials that do not comply with the relevant specification Ensure that a Certificate of Analysis is available for each raw material batch prior to release Ensure that appropriate Pass / Reject labels are attached to raw material containers following assessment. Maintain and update raw material standards and retention samples, in accordance with relevant SOP's Ensure all stock materials are reassessed and appropriate action taken prior to their stated expiry date. Provide Purchasing with monthly expired/due to expire raw material reports. Carry out in-house serviceability checks of laboratory equipment and maintain appropriate records in compliance with relevant SOP's. Maintain and record continuous monitoring of process water and effluent parameters in accordance with specific instructions and/or SOP's. Maintain appropriate department records and documentation in accordance with relevant SOP's and customer requirements. To provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the Technical Quality Manager Support Quality Assurance Technicians (Bulk) as requested Any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Compliance.
