Overview
A West London Borough Council are looking for an Education Lawyer to join their team on an initial locum contract, 3 to 6 months, with the view to extend. The Education Lawyer will deal with a variety of education law matters including: Special Education Needs (SEN), such as appeals and inclusion Tribunal appeals Disability discrimination claims Schools support Defending Judicial Review claims The council are located nearby transport links, inside and outside London, and offer flexible working arrangements, such as working 1 day from home. The team the Education Lawyer will be joining are friendly and supportive. Experience of education law is essential for this role and those from all legal backgrounds with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply, while local authority experience is desirable, but not essential.
