Location: 5 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG Salary: 44,131 - 53,341 (Soulbury EP Scale A points 3 - 8) inclusive of Inner London Weighting. Scale can be extended to point 11 with SPA points: existing spa 1 & 2 will be honoured. Camden Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is looking for 2 HCPC registered Educational Psychologists to join our innovative, vibrant and creative workforce. We are expanding following a successful bid to enhance the level of psychological support for school staff and families with children and young people up to age 25 as we transition back to 'on-site' education. At Camden we are a welcoming, well respected, dedicated, and skilled group of practitioners who work collaboratively to support the progress of the most vulnerable children and young people in the borough. We offer excellent CPD opportunities and work in partnership with CAMHS, Early Help, Social Care and health teams supporting children borough-wide and beyond. You will be able to develop your skills Dynamic Assessment, VIG, VERP, and technology based assessment. You will work at different levels, from individual children and young people to supporting strategic developments at a borough wide level. The service supports a range of wellbeing initiatives and supports settings to enhance their Trauma Informed Practice. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. To be considered for one of these posts it is essential that you hold a qualification in Educational Psychology (e.g. Doctorate or Masters), which permits Graduate Registration with the British Psychological Society, alongside a current HCPC Registration. Year 3 trainees who are completing their doctorate are also welcome to apply. The ideal candidates will have an excellent understanding of psychological frameworks and their application in a range of contexts, across the 0 - 25 age range. They will feel confident working in a range of community settings. The successful candidates will have an excellent understanding of SEND and Equalities legislation and a sound knowledge of children's psychological development, together with skills and experience in delivery of psychological interventions. They will also contribute skills in consultation, assessment and supporting settings to deliver interventions and review outcomes for vulnerable children, including those with SEN and Disabilities and children who are Looked After.
