Overview
Leading service provider currently requires an experienced CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified/passed finalist Financial Accountant. Your position will involve some operational and leadership responsibilities and will require strong technical knowledge and experience of financial accounts. You will play a key role in the overall financial accounts production working closely with senior stakeholders assisting with key projects, process improvements and ad-hoc accounting queries in this broad position. Duties will include but are not limited to: Production of the financial accounting month end provisions Production of financial reporting packs Cash flow forecasting Budget management and control Preparation of VAT returns Management of weekly site and consolidated cash flow forecasting, related liaison with FC & CFO and ability to take decisions based upon this Preparing statutory returns Assisting with the production of the annual financial statements Development of new processes and procedures Ad hoc reporting as required Candidate Requirements: Hold an accounting qualification or be a passed finalist (ACA/ACCA) Experience of financial accounts Experience of preparing bank reconciliations Proven experience of implementing process improvements Excellent communication skills Excellent excel skills Ideally you will have strong technical accounting skills and knowledge with experience in a similar sector.
