Overview

Children with Disabilities Teams in Totnes, Exeter and Barnstaple require experienced Social Workers to join their team. Immediate start and on-going contract. Paying up to £38 per hour. The team work with children who have complex health care needs and their families. The majority of children are classified as Children in Need, under 10% subject to Child Protection Plans and 20% Children in Care (mostly respite). Social Workers work with children and their families from initial referral through to case closure. Social Workers are also involved in arranging packages of care e.g. respite to support children and their families working closely with Health and Education. Experience of Court work is not necessary.
