Overview

Property Surveyor based in the South West Available Hours: Fixed Term - Full Time - 37 hours per week. Normal office hours, some out of office hours may be required. A unique opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and ambitious Property Surveyor to join the well-established Property team at MHA working in the South-West region. Based in the South West, with regular travel in the area and monthly to our Head Office in Derby, you will carry out project management on a range of management projects as directed by the Capital Programme Manager and Head of Asset Management, from inception to completion. The role also involves, Supporting the Head of Asset Management and property team in the delivery of a customer focused, high quality responsive repairs, empty property/void works and planned maintenance/improvement programme. The role also involves preparing feasibility studies, specifications, schedules of work and other related documentation in accordance with accepted good practice to support approved programs of works. The successful candidate will have a relevant technical/trade qualification in construction and building services (e.g. HNC/ HND in building studies or equivalent) experience of working in property services or construction industries with an understanding of the care sector being desirable. Good building technical knowledge including contract specification, administration and project management experience is required. Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and associated regulatory, statutory and legislative requirements in relation to property refurbishment, repair and maintenance is essential.
