Overview
National loss adjusting practice seeks to appoint a Head of Property Adjusting to take control of both an internal and external team of property adjusters. The work is concentrated on high net worth and domestic and you will have a personal involvement in every loss in excess of £75,000, whilst supervising other adjusters from a technical perspective. You will provide a mentoring and coaching function to help the home-based field force improve their technical knowledge and skills. You will also act as a ready reference point for the desk-based technical support team. A natural consequence of your involvement at this level is a close association with client relationships to ensure that our client maximises its potential. Preference will go to candidates who are A/FCILA qualified, but consideration will be given to others who have the technical adjusting knowledge and skills if they are seen to be of the right quality. The role will generally be treated as home-based, but there will be a requirement to spend time every week at Head Office which would require you to stay overnight. Previous management experience is not essential but would naturally be helpful. As part of our client's senior management team, you will have ample opportunity to influence policy and procedures. Basic salary budget up to £75,000 plus bonus, car allowance, pension, medical care and 25 days holiday.
