Job Title - Insurance Sales Manager Contract - Permanent Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 Location - Cambridgeshire Industry - Insurance (Commercial, Broker, Personal Lines, Affinities) _________________________________________________________________________________ A well respected client of ours has a position available for an Insurance Sales Manager. Our client is part of a large group of insurance broking agencies and this position will be a key role in their development. Description:- Responsible for the development and performance of a Sales and Affinities team. Current book value of approx. 5m GWP Delivery and implementation of branch SLA's & KPI's to achieve the company strategic plan and vision. Management of the current team structure, made up of two managers, one team leader and 7 sales advisors. Implement and maintain individual/team training programmes. To include sales, compliance and business soft skills. To ensure the Group adheres to the required corporate, FCA standards and regulatory bodies. Act at all times for the exclusive benefit of the business and its customers Main Duties/Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain the existing strategic business and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company KPI's and profitability. Set achievable SLA's for daily performance and development of the sales team. Initiate and coordinate the development of lead generation plans to penetrate new markets and cross selling opportunities. Be able to administer all insurance processing and servicing activities as and when required. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans. Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance. Maintain accurate records of all sales and activity reports submitted by your team. Oversee all customer service support and delivery. Deal with complaints efficiently and compliantly in line with company and regulatory procedures. Ensure the team operates within the rules and principles set out by the FCA including and in relation to - sales advice and advertising. Ensure that the sales team has the appropriate provision of resource, facilities and equipment to perform their roles. Report, monitor and mitigate any risks to the business. Act as a referral point for other members of staff across the group. Produce monthly statistics and management reports for the Head of Retail Sales. Skills/Competencies-: In depth Insurance broking experience. Technical knowledge of insurance products and the industry in general. Excellent experience in running a commercial insurance sales team. Ability to manage and develop staff, new and existing team members. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills. A collaborative and innovative approach to managing teams. Act with integrity at all times when working with stakeholders. Well-connected and respected in the insurance market. High standard of compliance awareness. CII qualified.
