Account Handler Huntingdon Full Time, Permanent £18,000 - £19,000 (DOE) Are you a passionate Account Handler? And looking for an exciting new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for an Account Handler to work with their very well established client based in Huntingdon. Two positions are available for our client one in Property the other in Motor. The purpose of the Account Handler role is to provide a professional, prompt and efficient service to Brokers and Insurers. Those who have previous experience working in property or motor insurance are urged to apply. Job specific requirements for the Account Handler role: Quotes/New Business - assist brokers with new business enquiries, liaising with Insurers where necessary for Property Owners, Office and Homeworkers risks OR commercial vehicle, business car, motorhome, caravan, courier, minibus and taxi risks. To ensure the correct documents and information are available for each quotation. Offering the best terms available for each risk. Mid-term Adjustments/Cancellations - Process mid-term adjustments and cancellations ensuring the correct premium is calculated for all policies. To ensure the correct revised documents are provided. Renewals - To invite renewal on the best terms available, liaising with Insurers where necessary for all policies. Renew/replace policies issuing appropriate documentation. Lapse policies as appropriate. To ensure claims records are updated for all policies. To ensure all diary entries are dealt with. To follow up new business quotes and renewal offers. Person specification for the Account Handler role: A competent level of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook Good written, oral and communication skills A competent level of knowledge of the internal computer system and procedures Knowledge of all current and new Products General knowledge of the Insurance market and legislation requirements Excellent communication skills Be approachable and helpful to management and members of staff Competent in Maths and English A collaborative and innovative approach to working Act with integrity at all times when working with stakeholders This is a full time permanent Account Handler position, offering an annual salary of £18,000 to £19,000 with market leading benefits, a positive and encouraging work environment, exposure to specialists and the fantastic opportunity to develop a rewarding and successful career within the insurance industry.
