Overview
GLOBALLY RECOGNISED PRODUCTION HOUSE IS LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME SCRIPTED PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT TO FOCUS ON THE POST PRODUCTION SIDE. The Scripted Production Accountant will set up and manage the accounting systems, track and map the production budget and support on the ground production accountants working overseas. Working closely with the FD and MD, you will provide regular financial cost reporting to the financiers and company and be the key contact to the Production Accountants and Line Producers in the field. The Scripted Production Accountant will be the key person in setting up and overseeing the early stages of the scripted division, working closely with the FD, MD and production teams to provide an efficient and accurate service. With a strong Production background, will have proven knowledge of cost reporting to financiers, cash-flow management, payroll for crew and cast, tax credits, withholding tax on income and crew/cast payments, VAT and any other HMRC statutory reporting requirements to ensure all financial/accounting and legal requirements are met. Candidates must be a scripted drama production accountant with experience gained from a variety of productions, preferably including a long-running drama series.
