Overview

Dispensing Technician Manager, Kettering NN15, Independent Pharmacy, £30,000-35,000 dependant on experience This independent community pharmacy is growing quickly and the owners have therefore created this new role, to free up the over-stretched pharmacist to focus on the clinical side of the business, whilst this new Manager focuses on managing the dispensing and retail functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high quality Pharmacy Manager (non-pharmacist), Dispensing Technician or Dispenser to step up into a managerial role that carries a high level of responsibility and excellent career prospects. THE OPPORTUNITY The pharmacy itself is situated in a residential area near to the town centre. It is open Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings. This role will involve mainly Monday to Friday working, with maybe 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-1pm). You will be charged with managing the dispensing and retail teams and associated workflows. This will include taking responsibility for all processes, procedures, regulatory and compliance work and ensuring that the whole pharmacy runs smoothly. The group has very ambitious growth plans over the next year and career development opportunities for the right kinds of people are likely to be exceptional. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE A pharmacy background is essential and some supervisory or managerial experience would be very useful (although not absolutely essential). Your previous roles might have been Dispenser, Dispensing Technician or Pharmacy Manager. REWARDS A salary in the region of £30,000-35,000 per annum, negotiable for the right candidate.
