Overview
Global Accounting Network are currently partnered with a well-established property development business to recruit for an experienced Accountant to join them on a part-time basis 2.5-3 days per week, or the equivalent hours. The client are flexible on which days and hours are worked over the course of the week and the business is fully set-up for remote working. This part-time Accountant job will involve playing an integral role, managing the day to day finances of a successful business. What does the role entail? In this part-time Accountant job you will take ownership of producing financial and management accounts for the UK entity including preparing and posting journal entries, sending re-billing invoices, production of the quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, preparing and submitting VAT returns, follow up of travel expense reports, liaising with advisor for the preparation of the tax return, regular cash flow forecasting, producing annual budgets, producing statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors at year end, taking ownership of payroll, liaising with all UK suppliers, manage and optimise the entity’s costs. You will also be comfortable providing ad-hoc supporting including supporting m&a and development teams, alongside other general office tasks. What skills will you have? The suitable candidate will have strong bookkeeping/accounting experience, a good understanding of accounting packages and experience working in an autonomous role. Ideally candidates will be AAT qualified as a minimum although qualified by experience candidates will be considered. What is on offer?
