Overview
My client design and manufacture a range of electronic instrumentation products that are used all over the world. They currently required an Embedded Software Engineer to join their well-established R&D team. Candidates must be able to plan and manage their own activities within projects, but could also develop into leading projects in their own right. They will also be expected to identify, suggest and implement improvements to existing design and test procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting their existing products and developing their next generation products. This will require initial analysis and understanding of our current products and development of the product requirements and its implementation through the full product lifecycle. This will require close liaison with our hardware team. Essential Skills - Embedded Software Engineer: Strong embedded C Working with low level 8 bit and 16 bit microprocessors Experience with real time embedded software on bare metal or RTOS Experience of taking products from concept to manufacture Ability to take ownership of complex software modules and develop / architect the roadmap This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, well established company who are investing heavily in R&D.
