Overview
Ignata Finance are delighted to be working with a manufacturing business located in the Hove area for the recruitment of a qualified Finance Manager (ACA). You will be responsible for a wide range of duties from technical accounting through to management accounts. You will be involved in project work which will include acquisitions and a future systems upgrade. This role requires the individual to be a qualified accountant making their first step from practice into industry. Do to the nature ot the role you will ideally match the following - ACA qualified Accountant (qualified with a top 20 practice with experience of auditing) - Knowlesdge of IFRS - Experience of auditing companies who have gone through a merger or acquisition would be preferred but not essential - Experience of auditing a manufacturing pr engineering business would be useful but not essential Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be involved in the following duties: Production of the management accountants – including monthly board packs, accruals, prepayments, journal entry and balance sheet reconciliations Group consolidations and statutory accounts Assist with investment appraisal Assist with associated due diligence for any future acquisitions Maintain and improve current internal control Lead the relationship with external auditors Ensure the ledger runs smoothly investigating an discrepancies Oversee bank transactions/intercompany Projects and ad hoc work
