Overview
Electric Motor Repair Engineer Full Time Overview: • Testing / fault finding of industrial equipment and rotating machinery required • Electric motor fault find and repair • Utilising equipment such as Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes etc. • Providing technical support to customers on occasion • Working within a team of other skilled Engineers and Technicians Skills/Qualifications: • Mechanical / Electrical Related Qualifications preferred • Experience in Fault Finding & Repair on Induction motors & DC machines Responsibilities: • Be able to interpret winding technical data sheets • Collect (reverse engineer) technical winding data from wound components • Preparation of slot liners, phase papers etc. • Wind Coils • Hand Insert Coils & Connecting • Electrical Static Checks using Electrical Test Equipment • Accurate recording and reporting of parts and consumables used on jobs. • Effective Communication and Recording of Issues and/or Delays • Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure • Ensuring the Quality of Workmanship and product leaving workshop meets the highest standard. • Use Hand/Power Tools & Precision Measuring Equipment You will be conscientious, have a working knowledge of industrial motor rewinds and have a desire to develop themselves through their career.
