Overview
General Manager Position Audley End Miniature Railway ltd Full-time position including weekend working, competitive salary depending on experience. Audley End Miniature Railway is an award-winning family attraction in Saffron Walden, Essex attracting over 100k visitors per annum to our site comprising 1.5 miles of 10 ¼” gauge track on the banks of the beautiful river Cam. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated General Manager to oversee the strategic planning and lead the day to day operations and management of the site. Must be prepared to work weekends. The successful applicant must have the following skills: - Exceptional organisation and marketing knowledge - Financial Management experience and proven experience of maximising profitability - Strong leadership, motivation and people skills - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - Experience working as a General Manager or Senior Manager in the tourism industry - Be passionate about providing exceptional customer service - Be a hands-on team player, always proactive and have a positive work-ethic - You will have the ability to react well under pressure and to stay calm and rational in emergency situations whilst leading the team To apply for this exciting role, please email your cv with a cover letter by clicking apply Closing date is: 31st March 2020.
